A Funny thing happened today

Here I was, all ready to dust off my blog and put a big post on how much I've missed you people, and what a bad Blog friend I am and voila, taaa daaa... abraracadabra...

A whole bunch of you popped up like spring flowers and that totally brightened my day!! 

Yeah!!  So these flowers (my favorite, are for all of you to share!!)Please know that even though I may not be commenting a lot, I am cyber stalking you all, and reading your wonderful posts.

As X mentioned this month we are being inundated with company...you know, nobody comes to visit in like 6 months and WHAM!! The whole famdamilies are coming!!  This does make me happy, as I have been dreadfully homesick for over a month now. Luckily the Olympic addiction kept some of it at bay, but the birthday is always the hardest.( Thanks for the birthday wishes too!!! ) 

My Mom came for an impromptu visit this past weekend, it was too short, a lot of fun, and today she left, hence severely affecting my overall demeanor...meh!!

Then a major portion of X's family will be descending on Wednesday, niece, nephew, sisters in law and my mother in law. Then my whole famdamily will descend at the end of the month for Don't shoot the rabbit that leaves chocolate day. I love them all to bits and I am sure we are going to have a blast, but I will be honest.....

It stresses me the hell out!!

Seriously!

My dust bunnies like to stay sleeping or they get cranky like this!

Cleaning, planning dinners big enough to feed everyone, making sure I can do a lot with a little, and I stress more about the in laws visiting than my family.( go figure??). I am trying (not very well mind you) to adapt my husband's current Mr. Fucking Positive attitude, however he doesn't seem to be the one who ends up cooking or   doing the majority of the neurotic cleaning!  I know in the end I will survive and enjoy all of my time with everyone, but if you don't hear from me, I may be hiding under the bed with the sleeping dust bunnies!
