Feeding my Olympic addiction...and work..damn work!
Seriously! Everything has taken a back seat. Cub is lucky he has clean clothes and lunches for school..( I jest, but I have been slacking a bit on the 'home reader'.)
Wanna know how I celebrated my I've been hiding from you birthday?? Huh ? You don't? Well then stop reading!

My damn birthday fell on a Monday this year..oh big whoop tee doo, my most hated day of the week- that is some bad karma coming around to bite me in the butt. In an effort to actually celebrate my birthday, I decided that Sunday would be birthday day. So on Sunday, I cooked my own birthday dinner of enchilada's and mint /orange salad and settled in to watch Olympic Hockey! Yup me, a few beers and 23 Canadian men with sticks. Ok it was really 26 men if you count the two that live with me and our friend B who came to watch, ( sorry B about the yelling- next time bring cotton batting for your ears).  This is how I chose to spend my birthday.. so you can imagine how I felt when my guys let me down and LOST the game...*sigh*

As I have stated, I LOVE to watch the Olympics, for two short weeks I surrender to my TV, where I know that its OK to start crying at any given moment. I yield to my competitive side and yell , cheer, clap, scream YES and on occasion jump up and down.

And a little note for my Sis- who has been bloggy absent
