And then October will bring sweet Halloween my way. *tap, tap, tap, tap* Is it here yet???


Not that I'm ready or anything.

• New Halloween decorations were purchased to compliment the old ones. Strobe lights and a FOG MACHINE!!!
• The House is decorated, well until the finishing touches on Sunday.
• The Cub's Costume is almost finished. (Yes I do subscribe to the homemade costume club ! )
• The Candy has been purchased, open and sampled for optimal pleasure.
• My Costume is ready to go. ( I Got Wings..and a black wig...hee..I feel like I'm 6 again!)
• The man I am married to, even opted to wear a pirate wig this year when he takes the Cub out..rowr, how you doing there Mr. Pirate!!
• Pumpkins are ready to carve
• Fog machine!! I GOT  A FOG MACHINE!!! Oh, I see I lead with that...hummmm
• I've redesigned Cub's costume twice.
• All of the furry creatures in my home stay away from me when the sewing machine comes out. I will not make them Halloween costumes...again...

Oh Halloween you sweet, fun filled ghoulishly wonderful day...can you PLEASE HURRY THE HELL UP!!!

Psst.... Did you know, fun little fact... Halloween is the last day of October.. Funny thing that is hey? Who knew?

I hate October.

For real. 

This is that month for me.  You know the one; the one where when the calendar changes and you wish you could hold your breath for 31 days. The one that makes you jumpy every time the phone rings and you basically tip toe through it trying to not draw any attention to yourself.

Yes this is that month.

I have been battling to maintain some semblance of happiness, but I seem to have misplaced my funny. Funny went out the door with Sarcasm and they let a double batch of Bitchy come in. I get edgy, overly so in October so you can imagine how much fun I am to be around. Which is kinda the reason why I’ve not been here as of late.

I battle the blues in this month and I fear that all of my posts would be depressing, "poor AA, there she goes again, has she lost her motherfucking mind?"

 Yup could be bad bob.

So if I’m not around a lot, please forgive me and know that I am still here, ticking off the days. But rest assured that once Halloween arrives- I’ll be good to go!!

In the meantime I think I will sit here in my invisibility cloak and do some pumpkin smashing, costume creation , Halloween decorating and copious amounts of drinking to get me through the rest of the month.

 If anyone asks- You haven’t seen me!

So I'm outta here for a few days. Going to spend some time with the Famdamily for Thanksgiving.
I am looking forward to a change of locale even though it will be rushed, frantic, alcohol infused and stressed. Pretty A- typical really! I'm hoping a little family infusion will help with the downer mood I seem to find myself this week. I can't put my finger on the why I'm blue- well other than I fucking hate October and it can't be over soon enough let me tell you! So yeah, that add in  some work stress, some I'm tired as hell being the person who has to keep everyone else on track, husband's been away,  throw in a little nausea, some PMS and you've got all the mixin's for a fabulous weekend away don't you think?? HA!!! Hide the knives!! Who knows maybe I will  get to punch something. Either way, Time away+ Vodka+Amethyst Anne= Good week potential.
The great news is that I will get to spend a whole day with the Cub on Friday. He has no school and I was smart enough to take the day off!! So we are going to get our haircuts and hang out. And by hang out I mean pack- but it will still be time with just him.
