And then October will bring sweet Halloween my way. *tap, tap, tap, tap* Is it here yet???


Not that I'm ready or anything.

  • New Halloween decorations were purchased to compliment the old ones. Strobe lights and a FOG MACHINE!!!
  • The House is decorated, well until the finishing touches on Sunday.
  • The Cub's Costume is almost finished. (Yes I do subscribe to the homemade costume club ! )
  • The Candy has been purchased, open and sampled for optimal pleasure.
  • My Costume is ready to go. ( I Got Wings..and a black wig...hee..I feel like I'm 6 again!)
  • The man I am married to, even opted to wear a pirate wig this year when he takes the Cub out..rowr, how you doing there Mr. Pirate!!
  • Pumpkins are ready to carve
  • Fog machine!! I GOT  A FOG MACHINE!!! Oh, I see I lead with that...hummmm
  • I've redesigned Cub's costume twice.
  • All of the furry creatures in my home stay away from me when the sewing machine comes out. I will not make them Halloween costumes...again...
Oh Halloween you sweet, fun filled ghoulishly wonderful day...can you PLEASE HURRY THE HELL UP!!!

Psst.... Did you know, fun little fact... Halloween is the last day of October.. Funny thing that is hey? Who knew?

Halloween was always by far my favorite holiday, even after both The Max and I had quit getting dressed up.I kinda miss it here and haven't really figured out the Carnivale thing in February yet.

Homemade costumes?? I bow to your supremacy. Me and the sewing machine ... we do not get along... not even a little.

I love Halloween, though ... I mean who wouldn't? Especially someone who tries to be anyone but herself every other day of the year - right? Uh-hum ... Danica Dragonfly ... cough cough.

My girls have been counting down sleeps for three weeks. We have a "Cat in the Hat" again this year and Stretch just can't settle on any of the MANY costumes at her disposal. Oh well ... it'll be settled soon, no doubt.

I wish you the bestest of All Hallows Eve ... Samhain ... Festival of the Dead ... Halloween and candypaloosa EVAH!!

@brite NO HALLOWEEN IN THE SWISS?? SIGH! I will hand out extra candy- no wait I will eat extra candy just for you! What is this Carnivale you speak of? Like in Brazil?

@Dani I wish you a wonderous ghoulishly fun Halloween weekend. Maybe you should teach Stretch how to egg a house or two? I think you may have one in mind. heee..*insert evil cackle*
@TRM, well it beats stealing it from them. Although I will be 'sorting' out Cub's candy for all the junk and throwing it in my mouth- I mean in the garbage.

I LOVE Hallowe'en...

My daughter loves Hallowe'en so much that she decided to get married on Hallowe'en night two years ago!! She had a Hallowe'en Costume Wedding.

That is the most fun I've ever had at a wedding...

I hope you will take photos of the haunting...
